BUILDING BRIDGES TOWARD CROSS-CULTURAL UNITY FOR YOUR ORGANIZATION AND COMMUNITY.

We Are:
Direct Icon

Direct.

We’re not afraid to talk about the hard things, but we’ll do it in a way that’s encouraging and inviting, not daunting or shame-inducing. In order to be a part of the solution, we need to clearly understand the problems we’re facing.

Driven Icon

Driven.

We can’t just talk about it, we have to put our work into action. We will work with your team to create real, actionable change. This isn’t a lecture series. It an impassioned half-time pep talk from a coach who wants you to get out there and succeed in the second half.

Devoted Icon

Devoted.

We genuinely care about you and want to get to know you as we work through our coaching. By creating real, genuine relationships, we’ll have a safe, trusted space where we can grow together.

Jay English

CROSS-CULTURAL Coach

Plain English was built on the vision of Jay English, who loves bringing people together, helping them get to know each other, and then digging deep into discussions on issues of race and culture. Jay has more than 20 years of experience in human resources, marketing, and pastoring, but what sets him apart is his heart for people and his hunger for unity.

As the founder of the national Kneel For Nine movement, & creator of the Cross-Cultural Literacy Program, he is recognized as having a proven track record of developing strong leaders, constructing cohesive teams, and building ministries & departments from the ground up.

Jay English is a phenomenal leader and teacher. The thing that sticks out the most about Jay’s teaching style is the way he can take old situations/problems and compare them to today.
